A working farm stay in the heart of rural Cork. Sleeps four.
This farmhouse has sheltered Ger's family for over a century. Now lovingly restored by Ger himself - who grew up within these walls and still lives next door with his own wife and children - it stands as a testament to the art of preserving the past while embracing modern comfort.
"Woke to birdsong and the sound of farm work. We felt like we were part of the land."
The original stone walls have been carefully restored and finished with natural cork insulation and lime plaster. Underfloor heating warms the whole house year-round. Twin king beds in each room sit beneath handmade quilts, dressed in crisp white cotton. The beds are exceptionally comfortable - our guests sleep deeper here. Ultra-modern lighting and facilities blend seamlessly with the quirky, characterful bones of a working Irish farmhouse.
You have full access to all living spaces. If you'd like to try fresh milk from the farm, just ask - Ger will bring you some straight from the dairy.
