Bluebell Cottage is a true escape - four private acres of meadow and woodland that border the river, with a waterfall, pebble beach, and views that stretch across the Cork and Kerry mountains. The kind of place where you wake to the sound of water and the only thing between you and the wilderness is a garden gate.

"A sanctuary. Not a single moment where you feel rushed or watched. Just trees, river, and the kind of quiet that makes everything else fall away."

The cottage itself is warm and properly equipped - two king bedrooms, one double, a jacuzzi bath upstairs, and a rainfall shower below. The kitchen is new and fully fitted. WiFi works well enough for emails. There is no TV, which is entirely the point. From here, you can walk into Pooleen Woods in minutes or tackle a mountain hike to Barley Lake. The seaside village of Glengarriff is nearby for dinners and supplies. Dogs are welcome - it's their kind of place too.
